- Jennifer slept fitfully. She dreamed about sex with Jackson, but upon awakening she was wracked with guilt. What had she done? She had never planned on such a thing. She knew that both of them had lost control of themselves. It was one thing to have pre-marital sex -- but she had done it with her brother. This was surely one of the worst sins one could commit. She needed to talk to Jackson; she had to make him understand that this could never happen again. They had played with fire and had been burned. Their passions had taken control. They had to stop putting themselves into situations that would tempt them. It was undeniable that they were physically attracted to each other. For her part, she knew she was in love with Jackson -- but that was no excuse. She thought he was also in love with her -- and she was thrilled -- but they had to get this situation under control. This was not only sinful and against every moral precept she had ever been taught, but it could also destroy their lives -- even if they were careful and she never got pregnant, they could endanger their marriages. She didn't want to make love with her husband and think about her brother!
- Jackson dreamed about his sister. He couldn't believe that she had been eager to have sex with him. Some small part of him felt guilty, though. Did he take advantage of her? Did his former, improper, behavior toward his sister lead to this? He knew his sister. He knew she was going to feel guilty -- and he didn't blame her. Even though he wanted to have a physical relationship with her, he would never try to talk her into anything about which she might feel guilty. He realized that his love for her was so deep that he would always do what was best for her and deny himself, if need be. Still, his thoughts were dominated by how sexy his naked sister was. She was even more beautiful than he had imagined. He couldn't believe that any woman could appeal to him like she did. Her body was perfect and, even if it hadn't been, he would have still loved her with all his heart.
- It was Sunday morning and, of course, the family would attend church. Jennifer appeared in a white, button-up blouse and a light blue skirt that came nearly to her knees.
